One of the first weddings I ever shot was of a bride wearing a family heirloom. A veil, so beautiful that it would make even the most anit-veil bride fall in love. A veil is one of the most defining aspects of your bridal appearance and no one knows that better than your photographer. Wind will make it come alive and it’s also a super good hiding place for a cheeky flower girl. Here is a sequence of images taken at dawn in Montreal’s Old Port with, what I am told is a Cathedral Length Bridal Veil (thanks Carrie). A big thank you to our model, Sarah who smiled despite the arctic weather conditions and my son, Mathew who looked after lighting, props and blanket holding.
